Meet Dr Louise Johnson
Dr Louise Johnson has practiced as a psychologist since 2000 in a range of settings providing clinical assessments and therapy for adults, couples, and adolescents. Louise has worked with people experiencing a variety of presenting issues including chronic pain, anxiety, depression, stress management, anger, and behaviour problems. Prior to completing her training as a Clinical Psychologist, Louise trained as a Rehabilitation Counsellor and for several years worked in assisting people with chronic illness or injury return to productive, fulfilling lives. Louise has interest and experience in a range of clinical approaches, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Schema Therapy, and Mindfulness Based Therapies. Louise has presented seminars to other professions to educate them about the benefits of psychological therapy.
Louise holds both a Clinical Masters degree and Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Macquarie University.

Xanthe Armitage is a passionate Registered Psychologist who has practiced for 14 years. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science and a
Postgraduate Diploma in Psychology.
Xanthe has worked across many organisational settings, including university student counselling, occupational rehabilitation, sexual
assault services, and private practice. Through her experience, Xanthe has worked with a diversity of clients, such as students, new
parents, and corporate senior managers, and she has developed the skills and expertise to assist her clients with a range of issues. These
include: depression, anxiety, addictions, pain management, sexual assault, bullying, relationship conflict, parenting, and grief. She also
has extensive experience in the fields of job loss, workplace stress and injury, and adjustment to change.
Xanthe is known for her warm, engaging, results-based focus. She is trained in numerous evidence-based interventions, including
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness. She aims to bring a customised
approach to her clients, drawing on her wealth of experience, skills and training to adapt her approach to her clients' needs.
